Andie Cortes-Comerer joined Accord in 2019 and sings a wide variety of repertoire. Trained as a classical pianist, and a participant in the Shandelee Music Festival in piano (1998), Andie began strumming folk songs on guitar at an early age and became active in choral singing growing up. Andie received a B.A. in music from Columbia University where she also studied economics and was a John Kluge Scholar. She has performed early, classical, and modern choral repertoire extensively in New York and Europe with such choirs as St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Amor Artis, New York City Master Chorale, Amuse, and Immanuel Lutheran Choir.
