Accord Treble Choir presents Comfort and Joy, a holiday concert of beloved carols, fresh compositions, and gorgeous wintertime incantations from around the world.
​
This a cappella program for treble voices is at turns lively, soothing, jolly and contemplative. Several pieces showcase centuries-old texts in the hands of living composers. Folk tunes from Romania, Ukraine, France and Scandinavia meet a celebratory song of Kwanzaa and classic English carols. Across all these traditions, we hear shared messages of peace, love and hope.
Audiences will be invited to sing along on a few well-known favorites, and all are welcome to a reception following the concert.
